Question about Prophecies 2005 and the Trilogy
Hi everyone. I have a question of The GW: Trilogy.
I was very big into GW when it first came out. Infact, I ran the fansite GWRage for a little while before real life happened and I had to stop playing and maintaining the website. Fast forward many years later, and here I am again. I purchased GW: Trilogy and linked it to my original GW: Prophecies account that I bought way back when. I'm assuming that I now own Prophecies (from 2005), Prophecies (from 2011 via the Trilogy), Factions (from 2011 via the Trilogy) and Nightfalls (from 2011 via the Trilogy). How do I claim Prophecies (from 2011 via the Trilogy) if I linked the Trilogy to the Prophecies from 2005? I would very much like to use it for storage. Thank you everyone and it's great to be back! |

Welcome back!
Prophecies stays eternally locked to your account once purchased (there is no difference between buying it then and now), so as of now you don't really have "two" copies unfortunately. However, you can potentially request for ANet to deactivate your code from 2005 (or better yet, I think you can deactivate from the account screen by logging in-> Edit Account-> Manage Access Keys), so you can possibly create a second account and use it for storage as you suggested. In doing this, you will still have the prophecies from the trilogy on your main account. Last edited by _Aphotic_; Jun 13, 2011 at 08:21 PM // 20:21.. |

The Trilogy key will only unlock campaigns you do not already have access to. If you already have Prophecies, it only unlocks Factions and Nightfall. It will not give you another copy of Prophecies.
In order to have one account of just Prophecies and one account with the Trilogy, you would have to create a new account when adding the Trilogy key. Applying it to a current account will count as only having one account. |

It did add the following to your account if it wasn't already Prophecies GoTY edition.

Thanks everyone for the info.
I've written NCSoft to see if they can separate my accounts. |
